In just a little over a month, the MAC will be finished and open for business! The walls are being painted, the basketball hoops have been put up and lighting has been installed!
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
Over a decade ago, Crossroads Bible Church moved from our location on NE 8th to our current building. The ministry was growing fast and we needed room to grow and expand. Since then, ministry here has continued to grow and we’re once again feeling the impact of needing more room and an appropriate space for children and youth activities.
Thus, God has led Crossroads leadership, prayerfully and unanimously, to build a Ministry Activity Center (the MAC) to expand our space for ministry at CBC.
ROOM TO GROW. ROOM TO ENGAGE. WHAT IS THE MAC?
The MAC is a 22,000 square feet addition to the south end of the building containing a full basketball court, 6 classrooms, a foyer and café area. There are many features within the MAC designed to meet the needs of our church and community. This will provide the space needed to engage the next generation in creative ways as well as outreach opportunities for our community.

WHAT CAN I DO TO BE PART OF THE MAC?
First things first ... PRAY! Pray that permitting will finalize soon and that all decisions will be made to get the construction underway. Pray for the workers who will be present on our campus during this project-- for their safety and for all of our interaction with them. Pray for the impact the MAC can have on our current ministry with the expanded space and gym. Pray for meaningful impact and engagement with the immediate community around us as we open our doors and invite others in.
GIVE! Our stated goal all along is to avoid going into debt with this project and raise the funds to pay as we go. Our projected completion date is Fall of 2017 so our need is to raise $2 million dollars additional to complete the construction.
